Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aratz Costa got the match started through his kick off. When Gamiz FC's Fidel Alcantara in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Plantio AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Bartolo Blazquez made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Ilixo Galego sent off a good shot on target. Arturo Cardeñosa struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Bartolo Blazquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Plantio AFC. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Ilixo Galego got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marin Mangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Alcantara in the 14th minute of the match. The supporters of El Plantio AFC booed when Gamiz FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Alcantara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Ilixo Galego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Plantio AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilixo Galego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Gitano Colillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Plantio AFC and the Gamiz FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 21st minute, Gitano Colillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aratz Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Mangas having to interfere. Fidel Alcantara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marin Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. El Plantio AFC's Marin Mangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aratz Costa in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aratz Costa in the 37th minute of play forced El Plantio AFC's goalkeeper Marin Mangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Mangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aratz Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Kevin Arratia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. The referee gave Gamiz FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alexandro Sabina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Plantio AFC's Marin Mangas. 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ilixo Galego made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Ilixo Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Blazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Aratz Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Mangas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 60 played minutes El Plantio AFC got a freekick which was hit by Barros Lopez. Aratz Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marin Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aratz Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. El Plantio AFC's Ilixo Galego got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Alcantara got free with Marin Mangas in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Ilixo Galego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Blazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aratz Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Marin Mangas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Mangas made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Fidel Alcantara sent off a good shot on target. In the 99th minute, Frodo Viejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gamiz FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
