Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anacleto Rosas started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Sotil Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pobella's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sotil Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 minutes, Isidro Ladra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valmeo UD and the Pobella players grew even worse after the yellow card. Isidro Ladra hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the match, Pobella's Idacio Avila broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Isidro Ladra got his second yellow card in the match during the 15th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 16 played minutes Valmeo UD got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Ladra. Tavio Quintas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Valmeo UD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pobella's Eufrasio Silvestre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Pobella from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes Valmeo UD got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo Quijana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmau Bernal in the 38th minute of play forced Valmeo UD's goalkeeper Marcos Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Pobella's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tavio Quintas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eufrasio Silvestre came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Valmeo UD's Tavio Quintas. But to his dismay, Tavio Quintas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dalmau Bernal to make the kick off. Tavio Quintas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pobella's Eufrasio Silvestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mino Suarez in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Valmeo UD getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Cordario Galdamez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Valmeo UD defense, Sotil Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Delgado. The Valmeo UD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Delgado should have stopped the shot. Dalmau Bernal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Delgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Dalmau Bernal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Pobella's Dalmau Bernal got a free kick in the 67th minute. Eufrasio Silvestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tavio Quintas in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Idacio Avila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, one of Pobella:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pobella. The referee gave Valmeo UD a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Andres Ramis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pobella's Eufrasio Silvestre. 2-2. Dario Landa's late challenge caught a Pobella's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dario Landa helped the player get up and apologised. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Rosas during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Pobella booed when Valmeo UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Rosas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Dalmau Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pobella eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
