But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anchel Olano couldn't finish the play. Lordi Izquierdo's late challenge caught a Vinallop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lordi Izquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quart De Les Valls's Lordi Izquierdo got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Anacleto Solera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Antxoka Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Julen Portillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adrián Obis fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinallop's protests and gave Adrián Obis a yellow card for diving instead. 27 minutes into the match, Vinallop's goal looked a bit too open when Anacleto Solera came free, but Ermegildo Ledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anacleto Solera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermegildo Ledo having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, Quart De Les Valls's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anchel Olano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vinallop's Sergi Perez couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Quart De Les Valls. Anchel Olano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Isidro Sobrado made a huge save. Frodo Castan hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Quart De Les Valls's goalkeeper Isidro Sobrado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Quart De Les Valls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antolin Goyanes to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Solera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vinallop's Ermegildo Ledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anacleto Solera in the 57th minute of play. Quart De Les Valls's Isidro Sobrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Castillo in the 96th minute of play. Vinallop's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
