The referee showed Julen Portillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vinallop getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Julen Portillo hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes, El Palmeral SAD's Llanos Marines shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Ledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Palmeral SAD reached it. The attack was good, but when Laureano Castillo in the 21st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Lico Jurado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anchel Olano, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laureano Castillo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, El Palmeral SAD's Aratz Dorado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Aratz Dorado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Anchel Olano came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Vinallop fans jumped to their feet. El Palmeral SAD's Lico Jurado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Castillo in the 85th minute of play. Anchel Olano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Lico Jurado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 92nd match minute, El Palmeral SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petri Dobale to maneuver through the defense. Vinallop were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
