Joey Riells started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Fortanete UD's Felix Mudarra got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Francisco Baños fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Macia having to interfere. When Fortanete UD's Felix Mudarra in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nicanor Macia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Baños, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Jávea O Xábia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Baños came free, but Nicanor Macia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Francisco Baños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Macia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Fortanete UD's Felix Mudarra got a free kick in the 17th minute. Orlando Babia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Babia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Zaquiel Segura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Macia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Mudarra in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Fortanete UD's goalkeeper Zaquiel Segura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Orlando Babia. In the 34thth minute of the game Francisco Baños who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jávea O Xábia AFC's Nicanor Macia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Felix Mudarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Macia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Mudarra in the 41st minute of play forced Jávea O Xábia AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Macia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jávea O Xábia AFC's zone, Francisco Baños stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Macia came out of the goal and Francisco Baños tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco Baños had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felix Mudarra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicanor Macia came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Mudarra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Madeo Orozco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fortanete UD getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Amor Barrios hit a great ball. Joey Riells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zaquiel Segura having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Manolo Irureta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Macia made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Francisco Baños sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute, Felix Mudarra fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicanor Macia, passed just outside the right post. Francisco Baños received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nicanor Macia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Babia in the 85th minute of play forced Fortanete UD's goalkeeper Zaquiel Segura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Fortanete UD got a freekick which was hit by Madeo Orozco. After 90 minutes Fortanete UD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Manolo Irureta who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Vidal Urbieta managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fortanete UD's Francisco Baños got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
