Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lobo Nueva took the kick off in the first half of the match. Villarrubia FC's Goyo Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fructuoso Marcilla in the 7th minute of play. Fructuoso Marcilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Contreras having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lobo Nueva in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Currito Lastras saved Canyet De Mar from getting behind. Goyo Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fructuoso Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Canyet De Mar's zone, Nemesio Soler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Currito Lastras came out of the goal and Nemesio Soler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Sierra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Canyet De Mar's goal looked a bit too open when Lobo Nueva came free, but Currito Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Villarrubia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avellano Villar to maneuver through the defense. Goyo Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fructuoso Marcilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Lobo Nueva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute Lobo Nueva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Currito Lastras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fructuoso Marcilla in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Goyo Contreras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Canyet De Mar's Rolando Sierra in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villarrubia FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nemesio Soler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Currito Lastras having to interfere. Currito Lastras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lobo Nueva in the 42nd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fructuoso Marcilla to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Canyet De Mar's goal looked a bit too open when Lobo Nueva came free, but Currito Lastras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fructuoso Marcilla in the 66th minute of play forced Villarrubia FC's goalkeeper Goyo Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Sierra took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Goyo Contreras. Goyo Contreras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rolando Sierra got free with Goyo Contreras in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Lobo Nueva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Canyet De Mar players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
