An unexpectedly hard shot by Toni Bravo in the 5th minute of play forced Ariniz AFC's goalkeeper Pelayo Ballesteros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pietro Labarra hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. When Brun Ferrer fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ariniz AFC's protests and gave Brun Ferrer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ariniz AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Brun Ferrer hit a great ball. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ariniz AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maurin Villar was slow to take the kick. During this time Candoas's players had a chance to rest. In the 24th minute, Eugenio Coira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ostadar Alcalde, passed just outside the right post. Chan Lorenzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Pelayo Ballesteros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariniz AFC's Pelayo Ballesteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chan Lorenzo in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Ariniz AFC booed when Candoas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan-Pablo Lopez de Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toni Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prometeo Nobo hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Toni Bravo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Pelayo Ballesteros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Toni Bravo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pelayo Ballesteros was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Eugenio Coira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ostadar Alcalde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Eugenio Coira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ostadar Alcalde having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Eugenio Coira made a precise shot to the right of Ostadar Alcalde. Candoas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 86th match minute, Candoas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector-Luis Jofre to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes, Ariniz AFC's Anartz Briso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ostadar Alcalde came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ariniz AFC reached it. The Ariniz AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Candoas's performance. The match ended with a win for Candoas.
