Martín Sacristán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Calo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Etxatxu Font hit a great ball. Eguzki Doblas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mané Casanova having to interfere. Etxatxu Font blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mané Casanova having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Calo's Xuoco Olle got a free kick in the 37th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Troy Etxeberria put in a rough tackle. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Xuoco Olle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuoco Olle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Casanova breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Calisto Soldado was the one to do the kick off. When Etxatxu Font came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Calo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etxatxu Font couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Calo booed when Pozuelo De Alarcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlo Calatayud didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Telo Ramiréz notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pozuelo De Alarcón's Mané Casanova. Mané Casanova was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pozuelo De Alarcón's Mané Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etxatxu Font in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Calo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Telo Ramiréz hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calisto Soldado got free with Pablo Alonso in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arlo Calatayud kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Eguzki Doblas came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Calo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eguzki Doblas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 77 minutes, Etxatxu Font managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Etxatxu Font was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mané Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eguzki Doblas in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pozuelo De Alarcón's zone, Etxatxu Font stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Casanova came out of the goal and Etxatxu Font tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Etxatxu Font received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Mané Casanova tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
