Castejon De Henares CD's Victor Morcego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loren Sanz in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cruz Serra made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Llafranc's zone, Cruz Serra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Montero came out of the goal and Cruz Serra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Demetrio Noya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Morcego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loren Sanz, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Cruz Serra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Echeto got free with Omar Montero in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Morcego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Demetrio Noya in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Maximino Echeto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Omar Montero to make any attempt to save it. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
