After 3 played minutes, Aljucer's Benedicto Rivera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ximun Barrientos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aljucer reached it. Agapito Canosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ximun Barrientos having to interfere. Ximun Barrientos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Cabrera, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. El Tobar's Ximun Barrientos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Izaguirre in the 8th minute of play. When Ceandro Albizua fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aljucer's protests and gave Ceandro Albizua a yellow card for diving instead. Ceandro Albizua hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 20 minutes in the game, Desiderio Diaz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Melchor Gómez having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Aljucer's goalkeeper Melchor Gómez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santo Montes. Melchor Gómez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Diaz in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of El Tobar booed when Aljucer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Izaguirre didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute Desiderio Diaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aljucer's Salvador Izaguirre got a free kick in the 28th minute. When Timoteo Cabrera came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Aljucer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Cabrera couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Desiderio Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Tobar's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Gómez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santo Montes struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Melchor Gómez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Tobar. Desiderio Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Melchor Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Melchor Gómez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Aljucer's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Montes came free, but Melchor Gómez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Cabrera in the 94th minute of play forced El Tobar's goalkeeper Ximun Barrientos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Timoteo Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aljucer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Cabrera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Aljucer players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
