Zosimo Litago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Mambru Garrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Garay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Mar Azul's Mambru Garrido made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zosimo Litago was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cecilio Garay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

García Griful received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. René Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mambru Garrido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zosimo Litago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Belisario Gala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. René Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belisario Gala took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised René Romero. René Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The Villanueva De Viver FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mar Azul's performance. The match ended with a win for Mar Azul.
