The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jakes Feliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramón Cacheres in the 4th minute. The referee ignored Saladavieja AFC's protests and gave Esteve Solano a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Saladavieja AFC's Esteve Solano got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute, Dabi Torrente reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jakes Feliu. The goal made the score 1-0. Dabi Torrente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakes Feliu having to interfere. Ramón Cacheres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jakes Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Cacheres scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jakes Feliu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Ramón Cacheres took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Jakes Feliu to make any attempt to save it. Arnoldo Griego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miro Quevedo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Solivella FC's zone, Orlando Palacios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miro Quevedo came out of the goal and Orlando Palacios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dabi Torrente to strike the kick off in the second half. Jakes Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Cacheres in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute Esteve Solano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miro Quevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakes Feliu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Dabi Torrente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Solivella FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
