Fabián Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacio Rienda in the 15th minute of the match. Marcos Bencoiechea scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabián Molina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ritchie Patiño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Otazu AFC booed when Tresaldeas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costante Carballido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Rey Arraz could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Isaac Vadillos however easily saved by the left post. With his leg Isaac Vadillos managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when Otazu AFC's Rey Arraz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Otazu AFC's Ritchie Patiño got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Tresaldeas's goal looked a bit too open when Ritchie Patiño came free, but Isaac Vadillos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacio Rienda was the one to do the kick off. Marcos Bencoiechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Fabián Molina made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritchie Patiño in the 61st minute of play forced Tresaldeas's goalkeeper Isaac Vadillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Víctor Crespo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otazu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tresaldeas the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Otazu AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 63rd minute. Penalty! The score was 0-2 after a penalty in the 64th minute, where Tresaldeas:s Jesús Cambero tricked Otazu AFC:s Fabián Molina with a difficult ball by the left post. When Ritchie Patiño came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Otazu AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ritchie Patiño couldn't finish the play. Tresaldeas's Isaac Vadillos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Patiño in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Dacio Rienda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabián Molina, passed just outside the right post. After 80 minutes of play, Otazu AFC's Ritchie Patiño made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Vadillos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabián Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacio Rienda in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tresaldeas's goalkeeper Isaac Vadillos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritchie Patiño in the 98th minute of play forced Tresaldeas's goalkeeper Isaac Vadillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
