In the 8th minute Ritchie Patiño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abejundio Campomanes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Otazu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorio Blanco came free, but Fabián Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Lacorte might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabián Molina. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donato Lacorte ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 19 minutes, Donato Lacorte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casas De Bixauca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Lacorte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otazu AFC's Fabián Molina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Lacorte in the 21st minute of play. Otazu AFC's Ritchie Patiño managed to work through Casas De Bixauca's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ritchie Patiño dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 35thth minute of the game Dorio Blanco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Otazu AFC's Fabián Molina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abejundio Campomanes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rey Arraz in the 40th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Abejundio Campomanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabián Molina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Lacorte in the 57th minute of the match. Dorio Blanco struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Fabián Molina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Casas De Bixauca. After 89 minutes, Galsino Sirvent mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Otazu AFC and the Casas De Bixauca players grew even worse after the yellow card. Galsino Sirvent hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Donato Lacorte might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabián Molina. After some careless play in the Otazu AFC defense, Venceslás Sarrate kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabián Molina. The Otazu AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabián Molina should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
