Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Uxio Lopez started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Ribadeo's Eberardo Carballeira got control of the ball when Aureo Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Gerena AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bahiano Leal to maneuver through the defense. If Sarracino Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 12th minute of the match Cordairo Gonzalvez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eberardo Carballeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aureo Martin scored 1-0 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eberardo Carballeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eberardo Carballeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sarracino Astudillo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Ribadeo's Eberardo Carballeira got control of the ball when Aureo Martin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albert Casals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Medina in the 27th minute of play. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ribadeo's goalkeeper Eberardo Carballeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Bastian Esperta fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerena AFC's protests and gave Bastian Esperta a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Gerena AFC's zone, Cleto Medina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Casals came out of the goal and Cleto Medina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albert Casals made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Medina in the 37th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Uxio Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ribadeo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uxio Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Albert Casals showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uxio Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cleto Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Uxio Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Ribadeo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uxio Lopez couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Cleto Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ribadeo's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleto Medina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albert Casals breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sarracino Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eberardo Carballeira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ribadeo's Niceto Canyelles got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Aureo Martin came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Gerena AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aureo Martin couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Uxio Lopez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cleto Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Albert Casals tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
