Ayera SAD's Euloxu Nadal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaden Bermudez in the 4th minute of play. When Pau Jorquera fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayera SAD's protests and gave Pau Jorquera a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Ayera SAD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pau Jorquera to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Inautzi Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vilanoveta and the Ayera SAD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 8th minute, Inautzi Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vilanoveta's Ciriaco Madariaga. Ciriaco Madariaga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Vilanoveta's Vaden Bermudez in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. One of Vilanoveta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ayera SAD:s goal. Isaac Turrilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ciriaco Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sindo Baltanas's late challenge caught a Vilanoveta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sindo Baltanas helped the player get up and apologised. Zunbeltz Vilanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Ayera SAD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ciriaco Madariaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Sancho in the 67th minute of play. Pau Jorquera in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciriaco Madariaga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Zunbeltz Vilanova came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Vilanoveta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zunbeltz Vilanova couldn't finish the play. Dagoberto Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ciriaco Madariaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Madariaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pau Jorquera in the 80th minute. Zunbeltz Vilanova received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Euloxu Nadal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
