If Máximo Litago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 8 minutes into the game, Lain Amer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mar Azul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vilassar De Mar CF the free kick. Madeo Campoamor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Máximo Litago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Delmiro Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Vilassar De Mar CF booed when Mar Azul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gergori Abellan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Eladio Soler from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Roque Harroyo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Madeo Campoamor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Madeo Campoamor came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Vilassar De Mar CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Madeo Campoamor couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hechter Losada made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hechter Losada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vilassar De Mar CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Hechter Losada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roque Harroyo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hurko Revuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Roque Harroyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hechter Losada in the 64th minute of play. Cristian Yeste received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Delmiro Macías tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Mar Azul's Delmiro Macías threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cristian Yeste, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Roque Harroyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hechter Losada, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Madeo Campoamor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Harroyo having to interfere. Erasmo Ruiz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Mar Azul's goal looked a bit too open when Hechter Losada came free, but Roque Harroyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmiro Macías made an important save on a dangerous shot by Máximo Litago in the 85th minute. Roque Harroyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hechter Losada in the 87th minute of the match. Roque Harroyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Madeo Campoamor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vilassar De Mar CF had won after a very even match.
