Peñíscola FC's Medero Alcaraz got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cordarin Vallejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yvon Gimeno having to interfere. Germán Ziguenza charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Germán Ziguenza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Puente Nuevo getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Germán Ziguenza hit a great ball. Xaiver Cao took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luciano Barroso. Peñíscola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Fran Galnares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Barroso having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Espiridion Herrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Fran Galnares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Fran Galnares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
