The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexander Mayol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Canal having to interfere. If Barea Abril had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Alexander Mayol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hechter Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barea Abril, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natanael Canal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Mayol in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Portbou CF's Asier Feal got a free kick in the 25th minute. Adriano Gabas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hechter Casillas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barea Abril, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pau Naranjo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Hechter Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Pau Naranjo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Pau Naranjo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portbou CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Pau Naranjo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hechter Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Adriano Gabas came free with the goalkeeper in the 54th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Natanael Canal could save by the left post. In the 55th minute, one of Ferreruela De Huerva AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferreruela De Huerva AFC. The referee gave Portbou CF a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alcadio Incera, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ferreruela De Huerva AFC's Hechter Casillas. 2-0. With a little luck, Portbou CF's Natanael Canal got control of the ball when Adriano Gabas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Natanael Canal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Mayol in the 63rd minute of the match. The supporters of Ferreruela De Huerva AFC booed when Portbou CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barea Abril didn't get a good kick on the ball.
