Lucero Candela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zerio. Tomás Barba in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Lucero Candela, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 10 minutes, Bizen Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marce AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bizen Maldonado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucero Candela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argenis Castaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Dario Vega dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucero Candela, 1-0. Quilino Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frechoso Japón's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Tomás Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Lucero Candela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Zerio's goal looked a bit too open when Bizen Maldonado came free, but Quilino Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucero Candela didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. If Dario Vega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Argenis Castaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lucero Candela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bizen Maldonado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bizen Maldonado to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Marce AFC's Quilino Romero threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bizen Maldonado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Ernesto Griego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 56 in the game by Ernesto Griego from a close distance when the talented Quilino Romero managed to make a qualified save. Zerio's players were relieved. 59 minutes into the match, Zerio's Argenis Castaño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucero Candela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Zerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argenis Castaño to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Bizen Maldonado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quilino Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quilino Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bizen Maldonado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan España hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bizen Maldonado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zerio fans cheered their team off the field, for while Marce AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
