After a defensive mix-up in Pablo Iglesias AFC's zone, Tomás Barba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zadornin Santiago came out of the goal and Tomás Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pablo Iglesias AFC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Macabeo Clos hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Tomás Barba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zadornin Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Argenis Castaño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zadornin Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomás Barba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zadornin Santiago was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Ximun Torrent charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Argenis Castaño made a kick off. Quilino Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evangelista Tarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Macabeo Clos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argenis Castaño received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zadornin Santiago came out and tried to block the shot, but Argenis Castaño slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 63rd minute. After a rather tough play, Pablo Iglesias AFC's Navarro Hernandez got a free kick in the 66th minute. Argenis Castaño struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Zadornin Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zerio. In the 71st minute, Zerio's Fidencio Serrano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zadornin Santiago. Zadornin Santiago yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Quilino Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evangelista Tarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dario Vega fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zerio's protests and gave Dario Vega a yellow card for diving instead. Dario Vega kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd match minute, Zerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vidal Castellano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Zerio's Brion Montes got a free kick in the 86th minute. It was beautiful to see Pablo Iglesias AFC's Xamin Murcia in action when he in the 88th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! An unexpectedly hard shot by Navarro Hernandez in the 93rd minute of play forced Zerio's goalkeeper Quilino Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Pablo Iglesias AFC got a freekick which was hit by Macabeo Clos. Zerio's Argenis Castaño got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Zerio players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
