When Puente Avios FC's Garcilaso Gómez in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bartolomé Castan came out of the goal and Tomás Barba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Puente Avios FC's Bartolomé Castan got control of the ball when Tomás Barba tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Zerio's zone, Garcilaso Gómez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quilino Romero came out of the goal and Garcilaso Gómez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolomé Castan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Argenis Castaño in the 17th minute of play. Quilino Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garcilaso Gómez in the 20th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Milian Helguera made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zerio's Quilino Romero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Argenis Castaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the game, Salomon Amer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puente Avios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zerio the free kick. In the 31st minute, Salomon Amer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Zerio's Ximun Torrent broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Argenis Castaño fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zerio's protests and gave Argenis Castaño a yellow card for diving instead. Argenis Castaño kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Milian Helguera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Milian Helguera made the kick off in the second half. Tomás Barba might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartolomé Castan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomás Barba ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomás Barba hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Milian Helguera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quilino Romero having to interfere. A collision led to Zerio getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Vidal Castellano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Puente Avios FC defense, Vidal Castellano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolomé Castan. The Puente Avios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolomé Castan should have stopped the shot. Milian Helguera struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Quilino Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Puente Avios FC. Tomás Barba struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Zerio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Argenis Castaño to maneuver through the defense. Garcilaso Gómez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Quilino Romero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Tomás Barba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Zerio's goalkeeper Quilino Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garcilaso Gómez. Puente Avios FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
