In the 6th minute, Paulo Zubiaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Bergada kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Paulo Zubiagas short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Siro Idiaquez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Zubiaga got free with Siro Idiaquez in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the match, Hostalric SD's Poncio Bravo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan-Francisco Zapata narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Juan-Francisco Zapata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesaro March, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madrid's Paulo Zubiaga got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Hostalric SD's goalkeeper Siro Idiaquez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Zubiaga. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordareo Harroyo during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cordareo Harroyo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Siro Idiaquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Valdivia, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Cesaro March sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Zubiaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siro Idiaquez having to interfere.

Aldo Valdivia took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Idiaquez. Siro Idiaquez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 66 minutes into the match, Hostalric SD's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Zubiaga came free, but Siro Idiaquez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Eduardo Carceles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hostalric SD's Siro Idiaquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesaro March received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan-Francisco Zapata came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesaro March slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 71st minute. Cordareo Harroyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesaro March fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Francisco Zapata having to interfere. Juan-Francisco Zapata was a little too slow when Cesaro March got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-2. Juan-Francisco Zapata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesaro March, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Hostalric SD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
