In the 9th minute, Agusti Crespo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Portugalete's Emesto Mera shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Silvio Abellan but with some difficulty. After 14 played minutes Casa Nueva got a freekick which was hit by Pacho Pais. Garcilaso Bargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lander Maroto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Silvio Abellan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lolo Pedrosa in the 22nd minute of play. Blanco Roman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvio Abellan having to interfere. Lolo Pedrosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Silvio Abellan made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Casa Nueva's goal looked a bit too open when Zahar Gasso came free, but Silvio Abellan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agusti Crespo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Lolo Pedrosa notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Casa Nueva's Silvio Abellan. Silvio Abellan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Silvio Abellan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lolo Pedrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience was convinced that Lander Maroto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Garcilaso Bargas was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Casa Nueva's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agusti Crespo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Portugalete's zone, Lander Maroto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garcilaso Bargas came out of the goal and Lander Maroto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Garcilaso Bargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agusti Crespo in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zahar Gasso in the 92nd minute of play forced Casa Nueva's goalkeeper Silvio Abellan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garcilaso Bargas came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Casa Nueva's Lander Maroto. But to his dismay, Lander Maroto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
