After 11 minutes, Lorien De la Rosa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casa Nueva and the Somosierra CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Somosierra CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Román Puyol to maneuver through the defense. The Casa Nueva players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Somosierra CF were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lander Maroto to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Agusti Crespo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Palomar was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game.
