In the 5th minute Rufino Quesada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Vidural CD got a freekick which was hit by Julián Camacho. The supporters of Vidural CD booed when El Encín Y La Canaleja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eder Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julián Cuervas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mauricio Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Vidural CD's Rufino Quesada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Gil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koldo Colsa in the 17th minute of play forced Vidural CD's goalkeeper Garaile Castellano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes El Encín Y La Canaleja FC got a freekick which was hit by Koldo Colsa. After 24 minutes, Aya Figueroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Encín Y La Canaleja FC and the Vidural CD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Vidural CD booed when El Encín Y La Canaleja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aya Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufino Quesada in the 26th minute of play forced El Encín Y La Canaleja FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aya Figueroa hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Julián Cuervas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Mauricio Gil when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Vidural CD's Julián Cuervas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Rufino Quesada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidural CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Rufino Quesada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 48th minute Braulio Goyanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garaile Castellano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rufino Quesada was the one to do the kick off. El Encín Y La Canaleja FC's Braulio Goyanes got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cornelio Escurza during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Vidural CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Escurza to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the El Encín Y La Canaleja FC defense, Rufino Quesada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Gil. El Encín Y La Canaleja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Goyanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garaile Castellano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Braulio Goyanes was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bardo Rossello hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julián Cuervas in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mauricio Gil saved El Encín Y La Canaleja FC from getting behind. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vidural CD were victorious despite being under pressure from El Encín Y La Canaleja FC for much of the match.
