After a defensive mix-up in El Alcor FC's zone, Arturo España stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mingo Candela came out of the goal and Arturo España tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Estruch made a kick off. Mingo Candela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo España in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Fermín Llorca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frutos Maroto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermenegildo Castelao having to interfere. Patxi Planes's late challenge caught a Javali Nuevo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patxi Planes helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Adolfo Arias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mingo Candela was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Laurin Urruti hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Adolfo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mingo Candela having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of Javali Nuevo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Alcor FC:s goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Alcor FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
