Guillen Balboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frutos Maroto in the 5th minute. After 7 played minutes El Alcor FC got a freekick which was hit by Quin Lagunas. If Frances Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Alcor FC's Mingo Candela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirino Barberá in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Renato Cordoba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altzaga CF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Alcor FC the free kick. After 18 played minutes Altzaga CF got a freekick which was hit by Renato Cordoba. Frutos Maroto succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Cirino Barberá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Losada in the 32nd minute of play forced El Alcor FC's goalkeeper Mingo Candela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mingo Candela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirino Barberá went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 41 minutes, Frances Losada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altzaga CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frances Losada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silverio Estruch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Balboa having to interfere. A hard shot 46 in the game by Frutos Maroto from a close distance when the talented Guillen Balboa managed to make a qualified save. Altzaga CF's players were relieved. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirino Barberá made a kick off. Mingo Candela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirino Barberá in the 53rd minute of play. A hard shot 56 in the game by Frances Losada from a close distance when the talented Mingo Candela managed to make a qualified save. El Alcor FC's players were relieved. Mingo Candela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirino Barberá in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Altzaga CF's Frances Losada fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Mingo Candela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirino Barberá, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Altzaga CF's Frances Losada got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Cirino Barberá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mingo Candela came out of the goal and Cirino Barberá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute Silverio Estruch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Renato Cordoba was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of El Alcor FC booed when Altzaga CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Cordoba didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Alcor FC's zone, Frances Losada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mingo Candela came out of the goal and Frances Losada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Alcor FC's Silverio Estruch got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frances Losada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Mingo Candela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
