The referee ignored Torrentí's protests and gave Heliodoro Rosas a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Torrentí got a freekick which was hit by Heliodoro Rosas. Epifanio Bastida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porfirio Navarro in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesús Colillas in the 14th minute of play forced Torrentí's goalkeeper Epifanio Bastida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesús Colillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Epifanio Bastida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Porfirio Navarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Epifanio Bastida was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Torrentí were furious when Eugenio Nafría was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Torrentí fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 30th minute. Penalty! After 32 minutes of play, Sueras's Asdrubal Sarrate made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Bastida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Epifanio Bastida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesús Colillas in the 35th minute of the match. Humberto Vives succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 38th playminute. Estebano Nadal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Vives in the 41st minute. After 43 minutes, Marin Jaraba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sueras and the Torrentí players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Torrentí booed when Sueras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marin Jaraba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Humberto Vives was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Humberto Vives managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torrentí's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Vives was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Estebano Nadal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jesús Colillas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesús Colillas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jesús Colillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jesús Colillas in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Epifanio Bastida, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Humberto Vives struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Estebano Nadal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torrentí.
