Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Betes's Alexander Rojas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Tobias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eneto Clos in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Feijo Maldonado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feijo Maldonado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Betes's goalkeeper Pedro Tobias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feijo Maldonado. 21 minutes into the match, Betes's Alexander Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleón Rubio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yoel Candela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleón Rubio having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Alexander Rojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleón Rubio. Pola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexander Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 33rd minute, Feijo Maldonado fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Pedro Tobias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eneto Clos, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Napoleón Rubio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jon Velazquez in the 42nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Víctor Marquez during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Pola getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Víctor Marquez hit a great ball. Jon Velazquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Napoleón Rubio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Pola's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Rojas came free, but Napoleón Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match Betes got a corner. Pola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xicu Valerón ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Bernard Lorenzo advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 49th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eneto Clos made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Pola's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Rojas came free, but Napoleón Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Yoel Candela came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Betes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yoel Candela couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Eneto Clos made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Betes's Pedro Tobias tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Tobias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eneto Clos in the 66th minute of play. Eneto Clos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eneto Clos scored 2-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Tobias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the game, Macias Turrilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Betes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pola the free kick. The supporters of Pola booed when Betes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macias Turrilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napoleón Rubio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jon Velazquez in the 83rd minute. Alexander Rojas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleón Rubio having to interfere. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pola's goalkeeper Napoleón Rubio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feijo Maldonado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Pedro Tobias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Betes's Honorato Campos got a free kick in the 98th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
