Chepe Etxeberria hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The long shot by Galeno Mudarra in the 37th minute really tested Isidor Alvarez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Marin Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliz Gibert having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nahia Jurado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Isidor Alvarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliz Gibert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenech Casanova in the 63rd minute of play. Domenech Casanova sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Nahia Jurado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Urkiola booed when El Alamillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlondo Zabalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 95th minute, when Urkiola's Gaztea Herrera after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Feliz Gibert in El Alamillo's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Alamillo had won after a very even match.
