Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Montserrat AFC's Justin Jubera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Montserrat AFC's zone, Nayely Planes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amancio Avila came out of the goal and Nayely Planes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Montserrat AFC's Amancio Avila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Escobar in the 16th minute of play. Nayely Planes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Amancio Avila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Jubera in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Error Orozco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute Marco Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Avila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Avila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nayely Planes in the 27th minute. Mundo Casas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Mundo Casas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Error Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Avila was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Marco Escobar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco Escobar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Justin Jubera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Error Orozco having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Montserrat AFC's Mundo Casas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Error Orozco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of Montserrat AFC booed when Villadun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Alfaro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Escobar was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Xosepin Nieto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Nayely Planes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amancio Avila. Montserrat AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nayely Planes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. The supporters of Montserrat AFC booed when Villadun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitor Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roberto De Toro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Error Orozco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mundo Casas got free with Error Orozco in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Jubera in the 65th minute of play forced Villadun FC's goalkeeper Error Orozco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Villadun FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Montserrat AFC:s goal. The referee gave Montserrat AFC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emesto Dominguez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villadun FC's Error Orozco. 2-2. Marco Escobar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Amancio Avila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Error Orozco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Jubera, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Montserrat AFC booed when Villadun FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cugat Ricoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Montserrat AFC's Mundo Casas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mundo Casas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Error Orozco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Mundo Casas hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Alfredo Villa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 100th minute of the match Vitor Revuelta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amancio Avila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
