Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Xicu Marques started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Portbou AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eloy Reina hit a great ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Feliu Idiaquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliu Idiaquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliz Zabalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaizka Noya having to interfere. Gaizka Noya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliu Idiaquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute Feliu Idiaquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaizka Noya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Xicu Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portbou AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xicu Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomi Palomares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaitano Bargas during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaitano Bargas. Xicu Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gaizka Noya came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC's Feliu Idiaquez. But to his dismay, Feliu Idiaquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gaizka Noya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliu Idiaquez in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Xicu Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portbou AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xicu Marques was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramond Sirvent's late challenge caught a Portbou AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramond Sirvent helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC's Ramond Sirvent got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feliu Idiaquez made a kick off. A collision led to Portbou AFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ezker Leseduarte hit a great ball. When Feliu Idiaquez came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliu Idiaquez couldn't finish the play. Tomi Palomares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Morientes in the 63rd minute of play. Ruperto Morientes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Ruperto Morientes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomi Palomares was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. The supporters of Portbou AFC booed when Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaitano Bargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC's Ramond Sirvent got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Santa Coloma De Gramenet FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
