Numancia De La Sagra AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Monreal's Agustín Cerreri got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Doroteo Millán managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monreal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doroteo Millán was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Monreal's goalkeeper Juan-Francisco Cabanela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madeo Villalcazar. Baldovino Alfaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Francisco Cabanela having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Numancia De La Sagra AFC's zone, Doroteo Millán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlomagno Aguilo came out of the goal and Doroteo Millán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monreal's Juan-Francisco Cabanela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldovino Alfaro in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Monreal's zone, Baldovino Alfaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan-Francisco Cabanela came out of the goal and Baldovino Alfaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Madeo Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Francisco Cabanela having to interfere. Bermudo Noya hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 38 minutes into the match, Monreal's goalkeeper Juan-Francisco Cabanela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madeo Villalcazar. In the 44th minute, Agustín Cerreri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlomagno Aguilo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Doroteo Millán made a kick off. Madeo Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Francisco Cabanela having to interfere. Monreal's Juan-Francisco Cabanela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldovino Alfaro in the 59th minute of play. Hibai Barrientos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Auderico Cardeñosa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bermudo Noya charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bermudo Noya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Numancia De La Sagra AFC booed when Monreal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bermudo Noya didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Madeo Villalcazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan-Francisco Cabanela was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Madeo Villalcazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan-Francisco Cabanela having to interfere. With a little luck, Numancia De La Sagra AFC's Carlomagno Aguilo got control of the ball when Agustín Cerreri tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Agustín Cerreri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlomagno Aguilo. Numancia De La Sagra AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agustín Cerreri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Numancia De La Sagra AFC's goalkeeper Carlomagno Aguilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Baldovino Alfaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Auderico Cardeñosa's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Juan-Francisco Cabanela - 3-2 was put on the score board in the 86th minute. In the 93rd minute, Serafín Bermudez had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Auderico Cardeñosa during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Numancia De La Sagra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Auderico Cardeñosa. In the 96th minute, Baldovino Alfaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Numancia De La Sagra AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
