The audience thought a goal was coming when Xalo Valdivia got free with Venancio Crespo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Licerio Uria kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Venancio Crespo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalo Valdivia in the 31st minute of play. Xalo Valdivia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Crespo having to interfere. Castel Vazquez's late challenge caught a La Cuba AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Castel Vazquez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute Xalo Valdivia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Crespo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Muro De Aguas's Venancio Crespo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Muro De Aguas from getting a goal against them. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xesus Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Normando Varela struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Rio Huguet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muro De Aguas. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 61st minute, but Rio Huguet got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving La Cuba AD hanging dry this time. Vergaray Marcos charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vergaray Marcos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vergaray Marcos kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Muro De Aguas's goalkeeper Venancio Crespo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Normando Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Cuba AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
