Los Alcoceres's Inocencio Zubiaga got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Xalo Valdivia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Guijarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, La Cuba AD's Xalo Valdivia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Guijarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Inocencio Zubiaga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd play minute Inocencio Zubiaga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rio Huguet. 1-2. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Barros Escobar put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Adolfo Guijarro. The supporters of La Cuba AD booed when Los Alcoceres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fresco Zubizarreta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adolfo Guijarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xalo Valdivia in the 34th minute of the match. Xalo Valdivia might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo Guijarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xalo Valdivia ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 played minutes Los Alcoceres got a freekick which was hit by Rubén Orozco. Mané Perez hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute Los Alcoceres were awarded a corner. Dantel Babia went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Los Alcoceres's Dantel Babia to fire away a dangerous shot which Rio Huguet despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rio Huguet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fresco Zubizarreta in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Fresco Zubizarreta made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fresco Zubizarreta in the 51st minute of play forced La Cuba AD's goalkeeper Rio Huguet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, La Cuba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Zubiaga came free, but Rio Huguet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barros Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Guijarro having to interfere. Xalo Valdivia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Los Alcoceres's zone, Barros Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Guijarro came out of the goal and Barros Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inocencio Zubiaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Barros Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Inocencio Zubiaga struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rio Huguet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Alcoceres. Xalo Valdivia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 83rd minute Vergaray Marcos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Guijarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Cuba AD's goalkeeper Rio Huguet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Los Alcoceres's Dantel Babia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fresco Zubizarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rio Huguet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rio Huguet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Zubiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
