Anxel Casta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ariel Saez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Anxel Casta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Ponce De Leon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejandro Merino came out and tried to block the shot, but Ferrer Ponce De Leon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 9th minute. Alejandro Merino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferrer Ponce De Leon in the 15th minute of the match. Nueva Torrevieja's Antxo Prieto got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ariel Saez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Nueva Torrevieja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Saez couldn't finish the play. Antxo Prieto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Anxel Casta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nueva Torrevieja getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Paco Campomanes hit a great ball. Renaldo Cabrera was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Ferrer Ponce De Leon came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Piadeta AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferrer Ponce De Leon couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Torrevieja's goalkeeper Alejandro Merino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antxo Prieto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Piadeta AD's Belisario Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Merino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the game, Belisario Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Alejandro Merino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xofre Soler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anxel Casta having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Saez got free with Anxel Casta in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Saez struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Anxel Casta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nueva Torrevieja. After 68 minutes, Raúl Palanques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nueva Torrevieja and the Piadeta AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Raúl Palanques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Belisario Arias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Alejandro Merino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Piadeta AD getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Licerio Barroso hit a great ball. Anxel Casta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antxo Prieto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Licerio Barroso's late challenge caught a Nueva Torrevieja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Licerio Barroso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Licerio Barroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st play minute Ariel Saez came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anxel Casta. 3-2. In the 95th minute, Andrei Gonzáles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piadeta AD's Anxel Casta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antxo Prieto in the 96th minute of play. Piadeta AD's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
