Raiguero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleodoro Lama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th match minute, Raiguero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bizen Torres to maneuver through the defense. Jordi Castaño kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Bizen Torres's late challenge caught a El Mas Fumats AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Raiguero's Llanos Marrero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Raiguero from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Nafría in the 38th minute of play forced El Mas Fumats AFC's goalkeeper Guaberto Urbina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cresenciano Solana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Llanos Marrero made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Musko Ruiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 94 minutes, Joselito Goyanes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Mas Fumats AFC and the Raiguero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Silvano Olle walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Raiguero's Kiko Nafría slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guaberto Urbina. That made the score 1-1 after 99 minutes of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
