The referee ignored Aguas Nuevas AFC's protests and gave Llorian Sirvent a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aguas Nuevas AFC's Llorian Sirvent got a free kick in the 19th minute. The El Mallol FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when El Mallol FC's Noé Zapatero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, El Mallol FC's Francisco Quintero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Ermegildo Valcarcel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venceslao Clemente went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Felipo Blazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Valcarcel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noé Zapatero, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some careless play in the El Mallol FC defense, Aldo Carro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olivar Diaz. The El Mallol FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olivar Diaz should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Aguas Nuevas AFC booed when El Mallol FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in El Mallol FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! El Mallol FC's Olivar Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elixio Lillo in the 47th minute of play. The Aguas Nuevas AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Mallol FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noé Zapatero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El Mallol FC's Venceslao Clemente got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noé Zapatero struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ermegildo Valcarcel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Mallol FC. If Venceslao Clemente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. El Mallol FC's Noé Zapatero got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute of the match, Noé Zapatero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Valcarcel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 66th minute, Venceslao Clemente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aldo Carro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Olivar Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Venceslao Clemente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Mallol FC's zone, Elixio Lillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olivar Diaz came out of the goal and Elixio Lillo tried to chip the ball over his head. Ermegildo Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Zapatero in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to El Mallol FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Noé Zapatero hit a great ball. Yiyo Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Ermegildo Valcarcel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noé Zapatero in the 94th minute of play. Aldo Carro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. El Mallol FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
