When Sandro Contreras fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castellfollit Del Boix's protests and gave Sandro Contreras a yellow card for diving instead. Xosepin Pedriza hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Zacarías Palencia charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zacarías Palencia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Euba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarías Palencia to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Contreras hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Castellfollit Del Boix's goal looked a bit too open when Xosepin Pedriza came free, but Pepe Zapatero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bienvenido Diaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Serrano in the 29th minute of the match. Pepe Zapatero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xosepin Pedriza, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Pepe Zapatero had in the 35thth minute some difficulties stopping Marco Arratia's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Euba's Bienvenido Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Serrano in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Serrano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Euba's zone, Rodrigo Serrano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bienvenido Diaz came out of the goal and Rodrigo Serrano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Serrano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bienvenido Diaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Virgilio Lopez de Toro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Euba and the Castellfollit Del Boix players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Euba getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Virgilio Lopez de Toro hit a great ball. Víctor Tobia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bienvenido Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Castellfollit Del Boix's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Salan came free, but Pepe Zapatero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Castellfollit Del Boix supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Euba's performance. The match ended with a win for Euba.
