In the 2nd match minute, Tarrega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justino Sánchez to maneuver through the defense. Santi Pareja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Justino Sánchez in the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Laperdiguera UD's Juanito Merino got a free kick in the 7th minute. Justino Sánchez struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Santi Pareja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrega. When Justino Sánchez fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarrega's protests and gave Justino Sánchez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laperdiguera UD booed when Tarrega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juanito Merino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Justino Sánchez came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Tarrega fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Sánchez couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the game, Santo De la Rosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Laperdiguera UD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarrega the free kick. In the 15th minute, Santo De la Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Laperdiguera UD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tarrega a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafín Bravo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laperdiguera UD's Santi Pareja. 0-1. Laperdiguera UD's Santi Pareja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Iniesta in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Justino Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarrega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juanito Merino hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Serafín Bravo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santi Pareja showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dionisio Gimeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toro Montiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aita Bargas having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Justino Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarrega's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Sánchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santi Pareja breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geronimo Iniesta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geronimo Iniesta was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Geronimo Iniesta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santi Pareja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dionisio Gimeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aita Bargas having to interfere. Dionisio Gimeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Aita Bargas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Caminero charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Caminero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Santo De la Rosa was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. After 94 minutes of play, Laperdiguera UD's Juanito Merino made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aita Bargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! 97 minutes into the game, one of Laperdiguera UD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Tarrega a penalty, 99 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafín Bravo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Laperdiguera UD's Santi Pareja. 2-3. Tarrega's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
