The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Debodes AD's goalkeeper Jakes Villa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 10th minute Galindo Cuervas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jakes Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekhi Ortiz in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the game, Ritchie Martínez lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Jakes Villa. If Ekhi Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galindo Cuervas scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Torres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Debodes AD's Emesto Lorenzo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Palau De Plegamans booed when Debodes AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otero Jubera didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ritchie Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Debodes AD's Jakes Villa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekhi Ortiz in the 35th minute of play. Debodes AD's Emesto Lorenzo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Galindo Cuervas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Torres having to interfere. The supporters of Debodes AD booed when Palau De Plegamans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Pedrosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Galindo Cuervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ritchie Martínez might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakes Villa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ritchie Martínez ran back to his position shaking his head. Jakes Villa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekhi Ortiz in the 57th minute of the match. If Ekhi Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the match, Palau De Plegamans's goalkeeper Robustiano Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emesto Lorenzo. In the 70th minute, Emesto Lorenzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Calvo in the 74th minute of play forced Debodes AD's goalkeeper Jakes Villa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Palau De Plegamans got a freekick which was hit by Valery Casado. In the 79th minute, Galindo Cuervas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes, Sandro Jimenez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Debodes AD and the Palau De Plegamans players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ekhi Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ekhi Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Jakes Villa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakes Villa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ritchie Martínez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Ekhi Ortiz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Ritchie Martínez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
