Goyo Contratas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Domenech having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joan Bouzon in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Domenech saved Goibetas from getting behind. The supporters of Basauri FC booed when Goibetas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Colsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goyo Contratas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joan Bouzon to make the kick off. Basauri FC's Alfredo Casillas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Grau in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Goibetas booed when Basauri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geremia Solana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Iyan Marcos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goibetas's supporters rose to their feet, but Iyan Marcos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Casillas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Casillas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Grau in the 70th minute of play. Nereo Grau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Peri Quijana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredo Casillas having to make a save. 84 minutes into the match, Goibetas's Peri Quijana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Casillas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Goyo Contratas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
