Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quintin Alarcon started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Fortun Palacios notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Carrasquilla's Jerrald Bajo. Jerrald Bajo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karlo Barrios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerrald Bajo having to interfere. 17 minutes into the game, Quintin Alarcon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Xines Navas. Quintin Alarcon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fortun Palacios in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrald Bajo saved Carrasquilla from getting behind. In the 28th minute of the match Manolo Campos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jerrald Bajo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Villafranqueza's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Alarcon came free, but Xines Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Karlo Barrios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villafranqueza's supporters rose to their feet, but Karlo Barrios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jerrald Bajo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jerrald Bajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortun Palacios, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Quintin Alarcon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karlo Barrios hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Abel Parra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Xines Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Villafranqueza's Fortun Palacios nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerrald Bajo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Quintin Alarcon in the 58th minute of play forced Villafranqueza's goalkeeper Xines Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Carrasquilla's zone, Karlo Barrios stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrald Bajo came out of the goal and Karlo Barrios tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fortun Palacios struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Jerrald Bajo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villafranqueza. Jerrald Bajo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlo Barrios, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the game, Andrei Marines was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carrasquilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villafranqueza the free kick. After 64 played minutes Carrasquilla got a freekick which was hit by Andrei Marines. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karlo Barrios in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrald Bajo saved Carrasquilla from getting behind. Xines Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Parra in the 71st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blai Barral in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xines Navas saved Villafranqueza from getting behind. A collision led to Carrasquilla getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vladimir Riba hit a great ball. Quintin Alarcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Xines Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Quintin Alarcon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines Navas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Quintin Alarcon came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Carrasquilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Alarcon couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Abel Parra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xines Navas was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
