The referee showed Benito Tobias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Tobias kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Guaberto Naranjo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xan Puyol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Typhon Gimeno during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was beautiful to see Puigpelat's Espiridion Sánchez in action when he in the 12th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! If Xan Puyol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Dionisio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sant Bartomeu De La Quadra booed when Puigpelat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martín Barba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Typhon Gimeno's shot from long distance in the 25th minute was not bad at all, but Puigpelat's Frisco Ladra knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Guaberto Naranjo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xan Puyol in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Benito Tobias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Damian Zabalo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sant Bartomeu De La Quadra's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Zabalo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frisco Ladra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gaspar Viqueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaspar Viqueira took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guaberto Naranjo. Guaberto Naranjo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Xan Puyol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Guaberto Naranjo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sant Bartomeu De La Quadra's goalkeeper Guaberto Naranjo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Xan Puyol made the kick off in the second half. If Odilon Losada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sant Bartomeu De La Quadra's Damian Zabalo suffered a sore thigh after 56 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Puigpelat getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lluc Briso hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Puigpelat fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Typhon Gimeno walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Puigpelat's zone, Dionisio Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frisco Ladra came out of the goal and Dionisio Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frisco Ladra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Tobias, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Odilon Losada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frisco Ladra having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Puigpelat's Espiridion Sánchez got a free kick in the 85th minute. Frisco Ladra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sant Bartomeu De La Quadra's Dionisio Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Gaspar Viqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puigpelat's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Viqueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guaberto Naranjo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Puigpelat had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
