In the 9th minute, Benigno Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evarado Carreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomero Caminero in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Caminero in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evarado Carreira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the match, Playa De La Caleta's Baldomero Caminero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evarado Carreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. El Bassot's Rufio Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josue Giberts short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Delmar Vicente to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. El Bassot's Evarado Carreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Caminero in the 25th minute of play. Ramond Bencoiechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of El Bassot booed when Playa De La Caleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Iniesta didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldomero Caminero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Playa De La Caleta's zone, Rufio Ponce stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Vicente came out of the goal and Rufio Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. El Bassot's Rufio Ponce got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Josue Gibert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Vicente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Vicente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josue Gibert, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jaime Mayol's late challenge caught a El Bassot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Mayol helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Playa De La Caleta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Ramond Bencoiechea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evarado Carreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Playa De La Caleta's Jaime Mayol got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 88 minutes of play, El Bassot's Josue Gibert made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delmar Vicente was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rufio Ponce in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Vicente saved Playa De La Caleta from getting behind. Benigno Abrego got his second yellow card in the match during the 95th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. El Bassot's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
