The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Bahiano Incera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ezker Alonso put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gaitan Galdamez. After 19 minutes, Fermín Abascal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quins AFC and the Huertas Nuevas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Quins AFC booed when Huertas Nuevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Montxo Hernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liberto Solera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillen Arias having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Quins AFC's Fermín Abascal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillen Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Huertas Nuevas's Guillen Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermín Abascal in the 27th minute of play. Veremundo Santander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillen Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermín Abascal in the 37th minute of the match. Ezker Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaitan Galdamez having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ezker Alonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaitan Galdamez was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. The referee showed Karlo Leseduarte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Quins AFC got a freekick which was hit by Karlo Leseduarte. If Bahiano Incera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Huertas Nuevas got a freekick which was hit by Lander Cartagena. When Honorato Aranzubia came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Quins AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Honorato Aranzubia couldn't finish the play. After 71 played minutes Huertas Nuevas got a freekick which was hit by Anxo Companys. After a defensive mix-up in Huertas Nuevas's zone, Arbidel Astudillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillen Arias came out of the goal and Arbidel Astudillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute Ezker Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaitan Galdamez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaitan Galdamez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bahiano Incera in the 82nd minute of play. Quins AFC's Gaitan Galdamez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anxo Companys in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Belalcaraz during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th minute, Bahiano Incera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaitan Galdamez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
