Chano Baltanas in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dantel Dulce, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cordeiro Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Jurado having to interfere. Jacques Jurado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordeiro Sánchez in the 28th minute of the match. Truylos Gimenez hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Marco-Antonio Tobias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Truylos Gimenez fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aragues Del Puerto CD's protests and gave Truylos Gimenez a yellow card for diving instead. Truylos Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Dantel Dulce didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

56 minutes into the match, Aragues Del Puerto CD's goal looked a bit too open when Marco-Antonio Tobias came free, but Jacques Jurado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Chano Baltanas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chayo Medina in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dantel Dulce saved Punta Del Español AFC from getting behind. Cordeiro Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco-Antonio Tobias in the 70th minute of play forced Aragues Del Puerto CD's goalkeeper Jacques Jurado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Chano Baltanas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aragues Del Puerto CD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chano Baltanas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Chano Baltanas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aragues Del Puerto CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Chano Baltanas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee ignored Aragues Del Puerto CD's protests and gave Bernard Lama a yellow card for diving instead. Marco-Antonio Tobias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacques Jurado having to interfere. Punta Del Español AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
