In the 13th minute Berbiz Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Edilberto Vilanova successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute, Arotza Saez made a precise shot to the right of Dalmacio Palacios. Montemayor FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Cordairo Hevia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montemayor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordairo Hevia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edilberto Vilanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordairo Hevia in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ramón Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montemayor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramón Jaen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edilberto Vilanova breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramón Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edilberto Vilanova having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cordairo Hevia to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordairo Hevia in the 52nd minute of play forced Roques Daurades AFC's goalkeeper Edilberto Vilanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amadeo Lillo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cordairo Hevia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edilberto Vilanova having to interfere. Berbiz Garzon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Palacios having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Berbiz Garzon in the 59th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 60th minute, Montemayor FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arotza Saez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 66th minute Berbiz Garzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordairo Hevia in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edilberto Vilanova saved Roques Daurades AFC from getting behind. Arotza Saez's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dalmacio Palacios firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arotza Saez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Dalmacio Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edilberto Vilanova showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Edilberto Vilanova showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordairo Hevia in the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Roques Daurades AFC defense, Cordairo Hevia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edilberto Vilanova. The Roques Daurades AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edilberto Vilanova should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Montemayor FC's Yiyo Zubiaga got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montemayor FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Palacios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
