Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Michel Zapico took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cuartillo's goal looked a bit too open when Antolin Castaño came free, but Hurko Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute, Vincente Yeste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Tobias took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hurko Barbosa. Hurko Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hurko Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antolin Castaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th match minute, Cuartillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vincente Yeste to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Castillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Rapado during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Izartza:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cuartillo:s goal. The referee gave Cuartillo a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celio Abad, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Izartza's Igor Clos. 1-1. Antolin Castaño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Hurko Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Romulo Montiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute, Balesio Bouzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hurko Barbosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. A collision led to Cuartillo getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Vincente Yeste hit a great ball. A hard shot by Ramón Castillo from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Hurko Barbosa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 38th minute of the match Atilio Fuentes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Clos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Antolin Castaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Michel Zapico notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Izartza's Igor Clos. Igor Clos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antolin Castaño made a kick off. Hurko Barbosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antolin Castaño's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Balesio Bouzas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cuartillo's Romulo Montiel got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Guillermo Tobias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Montiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Igor Clos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Izartza's Balesio Bouzas got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antolin Castaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 79 minutes, Jerrald Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuartillo and the Izartza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Jerrald Dominguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romulo Montiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celio Abad kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes, Izartza's Berto Duran shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hurko Barbosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Izartza reached it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
